Are you looking for high quality portraits but have no time? I'm Alaister Russell, an award-winning photographer and photojournalist based in Johannesburg, South Africa. In my 12 years of professional experience working for leading news organisations I realised the potential in the skills I developed in natural light portraiture. And with that The Portrait Shop ZA was born. My goal is to provide professionals, personalities and business owners with high-end portraiture without the pressures and time constraints of studio and flash photography setups. Working on location, at the office or at events in a way that is subtle and doesn't draw attention or disrupt workflow, I bring a pressure free approach that allows for an easy going, fast and convenient experience, delivering commercial quality at news speed.
